i dont want my mom to see that ive been testing it. i dont want her to know i think im diabetic. thatll scare her. im trying to get more evidence before i talk to her about it.

Firstly you should definately talk to someone about your condition. If it is diabetes it should be treated as soon as it is diagnosed to avoid further complications.
Every model is different, on some you can’t erase the memory, but on others it is possible – check the manufacturer’s guidebook or check their on-line site if they have one.

A local woman’s love for jewelry and her desire to help a young girl led to a popular medical identification bracelet and a company called Lauren’s Hope. “(Medical ID bracelets) are ugly, and they draw attention to people’s illnesses. People don’t like that. They don’t want to be labeled as being different than everybody else,” said Denise Gaskill, who co-owns Lauren’s Hope. KMBC’s Kelly Eckerman reported that the unique thing about the bracelets is that buyers order one medical tag with all their emergency medical information printed on it. The tag can be attached to any number of bracelets, necklaces or even watches. The bracelets started when the designer made one for her children’s baby sitter, Lauren, who refused to wear her medical identification bracelet. Soon the designer was getting endless requests for the bracelets, and the company, Lauren’s Hope, was started in Riverside. “We developed the Web site, and it started taking off. You would not believe it. It’s been fantastic. (It’s) been on QVC, featured in People Magazine, in the Wall Street Journal. (It’s) just been amazing,” Gaskill said. In addition to the jeweled identification bracelets, there are sporty velcro identification bracelets and bright-colored dog tags, which are popular with boys and men. I’m currently watching a show on TLC called Half-Ton Mom and I was thinking to myself: How is it that these people allow themselves to get so big? This woman is nearly 900 pounds! You would think that by around 300lbs., one would realize that they need treatment for compulsive eating. I’m not trying to sound mean, but it angers me that people would do this to themselves. Is this a form of self-harm or a hidden desire to die??? I just don’t understand. I feel bad.

I have a somewhat complicated situation and would appreciate some serious, educated advice: My husband and I live in Las Vegas, NV in a home that has significantly depreciated since we bought it 4 years ago. We paid $ 570,000, and it’s now appraised at approx. $ 270,000 due to our lovely economy! We still owe $ 460,000, and we have an interest only loan that is coming to the end of the 5 year arm in a couple of months, so our mortgage is going to increase significantly! My husband also has a rental home that is worth what he owes on it. (We were just married, and all debts, etc. are in his name only) My husband is in the process of being sued for over $ 400,000 due to medical equipment that he leased for a Dr. he employed that has skipped town. He must therefore file for BK to avoid paying $ 400,000 for equipment he cannot use. My husband believes that our only option is to let our home go to the bank (ASC) and move into the rental home, but, we do not want to leave our current home! What are our options? Will a BK court allow us to restructure our current mortgage for the amount the home is now appraised? We haven’t missed a payment, and the bank won’t allow us to refinance now. And we’re afraid that if we stop paying on our current mortgage in order to get the bank to work with us, let the rental home go back to the bank, and file BK, that no bank will allow us to refinance/restructure because our credit will be destroyed, and then we won’t have any home at all! Please help! Thank you

If you have been diagnosed with Insulin Resistance Diabetes and are taking Metformin: What is your dosage, how many times a day do you take your dosage, do you take it before or after a meal, how much weight have you lost, how long did it take for this weight to come off, do you experience dehydration due to the diarrhea it can cause, does this side-effect cause hemorrhoid flare-ups, have you combined your medication with any life style changes?
I would like to know if there is any validity in the weight-loss claims people are putting on the internet regarding this drug.

my daughter has metformin for her insulin resistance. but the main thing she was told to do was exercise and diet. a very, very nutritious diet that gives her the strength to do the exercise. the only thing she has to cut down are carbs and no sweets. i will give you her programme if you want. my dietician said magnese works as well as metformin.

Try listing them on www.craigslist.com It’s a great place to sell things. You’ll need to pick the largest city near your home and then the correct category… it is pretty easy to use. Good luck.

well, if you are worried about staining them you can basically eat everything, just brush your teeth afterwards. but.. some foods that you should not eat are: caramel, whole apples (you can eat them when they are sliced) and thats basically it. they say you can’t have gum but you can (even if it has sugar in it you can) , they say you can’t have popcorn but i ate it all the time.. so basically just stay away from caramel and super STICKY things.
