Question : Wheelchair?
Recently some people that I know have gotten into accidents, and are now wheelchair bound. A part of me wants to be there with them in a chair next to them. Is it because of empathy? I don’t want them to go through it alone…Im just confused on why I am wanting to be in a chair….help

That is the last thing they want from you. Treat them like normal, DO NOT pity them. My daughter was in a electric wheelchair for 3 yrs due to an illness, and I never never pitied her or felt sorry, I treated her like a normal person. It was hard, but you have to do that, they do not want sympathy or pity, it just makes them feel worse, as I am sure they hate their lives at the moment.

i am a 15 year old male. i keep peeing every hour. i think i have a over active bladder. how does a person just get it out of nowhere? how do u treat a overactive bladder? (other than medicine, or see a doctor)

Do you drink a lot of beverages? If you drink a lot, then you will of course pee a lot. But if that’s not the case, then you should definitely see a doctor. I don’t know what could cause that problem in such a young guy, but it could be a urinary track infection. I seriously doubt at your age that it could be an enlarged prostate. But really, don’t be afraid to see a doctor.

it depends on where you’re located and how severe the disorder is. You could be treated from home or you may need to be checked in. Usually the rates are different in some areas. Also, insurance companies vary. A friend was covered by her insurance and anothers did not cover her. Try contacting the clinics in the area and see if the take your insurance.

I am addicted to percocet. Whenever i have it it is the only time i feel like a normal person and I have great self esteem. I am worried though that whenever my mom needs to refill her bottle i start to crave it more and more. Are percocet addictive, and if so what should I do so I do not run out?

My aunt has melanoma of the eye and tomorrow shes going in to get the laser surgery done.
How long does it take and the recovery?
Will she be able to go home that same day? Or stay over a night?

Depending on whether general anesthesia will be needed or not, she may go home tomorrow (same day) or stay overnight.
Anyway, surgeon will be the best person to tell you.

I have a horrible problem. I started taking opiate drugs (such as Vicodin and Percocets) about 4 years ago for pain. I always had legitimate prescriptions. I would take them on and off but always atleast a few weeks out of every month. I think at that point I was mentally addicted but not physically. I have horrible kidney stones and I am always passing them. I have pain constantly now. My doctor says that when a person passes so many kidney stones, that the pain receptor gets turned on and doesn’t turn off again. Anyway, in September I was hosptalized for a surgery on my kidney. I was then put on all sorts of opiate drugs. I have been trying to taper off since then. It is the most horrible, painful thing that I have ever dealt with in my life. I think that it is worse than the kidney pain. Anyway, does anybody have any ideas of how I can beat this horrible addiction. I never imagined that I would be addicted to something….. I cry all the time and I am sad 
I don’t really want to go to a rehab. I was wondering about any home remedies…herbs?….anyway to get my opiate receptors back to normal so that I can have a natural high instead of only being happy when I am taking a pill? Please some help?

Where is a place to sell a handicap van?

Question : Where is a place to sell a handicap van?
My boyfriend’s mother was handicapped, but since she passed away, they no longer need her handicap van. It’s a 1995 ford windstar with a handicap ramp and hand controls. Any idea where you can sell one of these? Are there certain places that will buy them?

You might ask at the local EMS Station, hospital or a nursing home if they know of anyone who needs a vehicle with the modifications that have been made for handicapped access. You could also just advertise it in the newspaper, supermarket bulletin board or other common places, but that would take a longer time to sell the vehicle.

i am recovering from anorexia and have been for a little while now (2 weeks or maybe a bit more) and have suddenly (these past few days) been really feeling like i have to throw up my food. i dont, but my stomach hurts all the time with this feeling. the only time it seems to not happen is when i am eating. i dont know why this is happining now because ive been eating this amount for a while . Ive obviously lost my sense of hunger and fullness but im guessing this is fullness???
what could it be?? any ways to get rid of it.
p.s – also now that i think about it, it first started saturday, and for the past 2 days before that i barely ate anything. but i barely ate anything when i was anorexic and when i started eating again i didnt feel this way. helpppp

Hello,
Depending on how long you were anexoric, your body is most likely “freaking out” right now. Because of your eating disorder, it got used to not eating or eating very little. Now that you have moved past your disorder, your body feels under attack by you trying to feed it again, therefore it feels like it wants to get rid of that food in your stomach.You must slowly start eating again to lessen the shock for your body.. don’t worry, this feeling will eventually pass once you allow your body to get in routine again of eating regularly.

I was curious if men with Erectile problems can still get a woman pregnant. My boyfriend has erectile dysfunction and we had unprotected sex. Is it still possible for me to get pregnant? Can a man with that type of problem even ejaculate or is it impossible for them?
