Question : What is a 1200 calorie ada and renal diet?
I AM A DIABETIC OF 21 YEARS WITH – SLIGHT KIDNEY DISFUNCTION AND TRYING TO AVOID MORE. WHAT CAN I USE TO CLEAN THE TOXINS FROM MY SYSTEM? ALSO WHAT FOODS ARE LIMITED ON A RENAL DIET?

A renal diet …
Low potassium
Low phosphate
Low Salt
Low fat
Protein restriction
They usually also put you on a fluid restriction. Remember, puddings, jello and anything that turns into a fluid at room temperature is considered a fluid.
Be careful when using salt substitutes, many of them contain potassium.
This can be a very difficult diet to be on, especially while being a diabetic. I have seen many patients that were depressed because of their choices of food.
Ask your doctor to refer you to a dietician. They can help you set up a meal plan and discuss any further questions you may have. Were you just recently in the hospital? Who put you on this diet? They should have thoroughly explained it to you and made sure you understood.

Sad as it is, i can’t get an erection
I do have other hard candy though; a nice selection
Sometimes my digestion takes way too long
So I have a fiber rich diet, to move things along

Question : 5’7″ and 145…am I going to be the fattest one at the eating disorder treatment center?
Like I said I am 5’7″ and 145 suffering from what my counselor calls “binge eating disorder with anorexic tendancies and laxative abuse” pretty much I eat nothing but vegetables 5 days a week…never exceeding 500 calories a day (that would be A LOT), then 2 days a week I binge on sweets…and pretty much everytime I put something in my mouth I take 15-20 stimulant laxatives. It is also accompanied by TONS of anxiety. My counselor gave me 3 months, then I have to find some place to go if things arent getting better…but really…am I going to be the fattest one there????

Burning up calories was a lot easier for me when I started experimenting with acai berry. I appreciate they say that pills will not work, but they definitely worked for me, and they’ve been showcased on CNN too. Question : Good, gentle dentist in Indianapolis area? ?
I’m scared to death to go to the dentist (as most people are). I once had to lay there with tears down my face before they believed me that I could still feel the drilling. It’s been about 5 years between insurance issues, having a baby and just plain being afraid – so I really need someone who isn’t going to sit there and say “oh my, your teeth are horrid.” I KNOW.
I live in the Pike area of Marion County. Thanks in advance!

You got to go to the dentist. You will feel better just to make the appointment. try a women dentist …i love mine. schedule it so its in a week or so so you can work up to the fact that you are going. I doubt that a dentist is going to give you crap about the condition of your teeth. they are their to help you and make money off of you… why would they want to shame you into not going back? good luck ..

Cymbalta is a really good one that is becoming hot on the market And i liked it and had alot of reactions to the depressants but not to this one

Considering porcelain veneers, but I box, would they pose any more of a risk? Would a mouth guard no longer be sufficient?
Have an appointment with my dentist coming up, and I do plan to discuss this concern with him, but I’m still wondering.

I dont think there are many companies in SA that do this. Try looking on the internet under Classified Adverts or Gumtree. houses in SA are normally ground level, not like the UK where all houses are double story and the stair lifts are a neccesity for older people. To be honest I have never ever seen one in SA and I was born there. You could try Schindler Lifts. Not sure of their details, but they should be on the Internet. Another company is “Otis Lifts”. They should know if there are companies that cater for this sort of thing. Sorry couldnt be more helpful.

He will not improve his diet. He eats what he wants when he wants. Because his sugar is pretty good, I think he thinks he doesn’t need to change his lifestyle. I quit trying to help. Asking, helping, pleading, crying didn’t do it , so I gave it all back to him and told him once he owned the disease than he could change. The fighting has ceased but that’s about it. Help! HIs dad died from complications of diabetes.

Sounds like he’s in denial. This happens. If he won’t help himself looks like you have to give him the right foods to eat whenever you can. I know it’s like having a little kid all over again. He’s gonna have to talk to a dietitian or nutritionist. If nothing else, he’s gonna have to learn the hard way.
