Question : Can porcelain crowns be shortened after they are cemented in?
I want my porcelain crown shortened so its the same size as my canine, can it be shortened. Its been cemented in my mouth for a year. Is it bad if the permanent crown is shaved.

Your dentist should have caught this at the beginning I’ve personally had my bite adjusted where they filed down crowns a little but I don’t think as much as you are talking about. Go back to the dentist and tell them it’s bothering you and ask them to make it even. You paid for it, they owe you a service.
