end of the course you will have a good understanding of the unique physiological and psychological differences between men and women. Learn how different the frequency and nature of the injuries of men and women, including concussions, neck pain, shoulder instability, thoracic outlet syndrome and other nerve involvement, lumbar spondylolisthesis, sacroiliac joint dysfunction, hip, trochanter bursitis, patellofemoral disorders, stress fractures and injuries caused by overuse. In particular, ACL injuries are discussed in detail that this injury was examined in greater depth of injury in other sports. You learn the most important exercises and drills that make athletes to have to improve athletic performance and prevent injuries. You will have a better understanding of the important health issues that women athletes throughout his life, including body image, nutrition, pregnancy and bone health.

Over training techniques will be discussed in this course. The experience with these concepts is not required before the course. Active participation is encouraged during lab sessions to assist in the understanding of concepts, but not required. All participants receive a comprehensive manual that summarizes the information provided in lectures. Promotion of research and a list of references are included.

Brian Lawler, MS, PT, OCS, ATC, CSCS, PES is co-owner of Physical Therapy Asheville in Asheville, North Carolina. He has a Master of Science in Physical Therapy at Duke University acquired in 1993 and is certified in orthopedics. He has a Master of Science in exercise science and health promotion with emphasis on performance enhancement and injury prevention at the University of California, Pennsylvania. He is a certified athletic trainer NATA certified strength and conditioning specialist with the NSCA, and a specialist in performance improvement with NASM. Briana? Passion is to provide patients and athletes to achieve their goals and realize their dreams. He has a special interest in working with female athletes, because they often receive inadequate training and make dramatic improvements that will greatly affect the performance and health of athletes. In his clinic offers Brian regular programs for pre-season ACL injury prevention to young athletes. It also offers other programs to the credit needs of women’s needs.
