Question : Why will Obama not release his medical records? Is it because they will show cocaine abuse?
He has released a letter from a doctor saying that he is healthy. That is not the same as releasing his medical records. Do a little research, people.
Read his books. He says in his own writings he was a stoner. But he does not say when, if ever, he stopped. It is a legitimate question.
One doctor saying that Obama is in good enough health to be President is not the same as seeing medical records. Lots of doctors are cocaine users.

Maybe both candidates should release their complete medical records – or the supporters of both should drop the question entirely.
Senator McCain has NOT released his entire medical record, but in May of this year allowed limited access to most of the records to a chosen few reporters for a limited period of time.

The Washington Post was the only national newspaper allowed to review the records made available by McCain in May, 2008.The information released by Senator Obama’s doctor publicly is enough to be reassured that he is in good health and is physically and medically capable of discharging the duties of the Office of the President.

Personally, I think that BOTH candidates should release ALL their adult medical records to clear up any shadow of doubt. At this time BOTH have left open the issue of ‘hidden’ health problems that could be exploited politically.

He fully admitted cocaine abuse!!! It was years and years ago… Did YOU ever make mistake years and years ago? But I’m sure in that case, it’s okay, since you’re a republican.
McCain admits on cheating on his wife years and years ago, but that mistake is forgivable… because he’s John McCain.
IN ADDITION: let the record show, Cindy McCain was a drug addict, who went to rehab. Obama just experimented. But that’s ok, right… she’s a republican.

I’ll answer this one AGAIN…he DID and he’s VERY healthy according to the doctors who examined him and reviewed his records. Like usual you neo-cons are WAY behind and out of touch. McCain’s medical records, on the otherhand, were over 10000 pages long and the public was only given 3 hours to review it…who’s REALLY hiding something?

The reason Obama won’t release his medical records are the same reasons why he hasn’t been so open to disclose facets of his life and his family—because there’s simply too much to keep quiet about.
And if he’s got all those secrets hidden well—it’s because he knows the truth about him will damage his chances for election to be President.
And to the young, immature “Rock The Voter” crowd: Obama is NO JFK!! Obama, even this close to Election Day, really hasn’t come forward and explained his plans to address U.S. domestic and overseas woes and issues. And I don’t feel comfy voting for a man who has so much of his life hidden—and continues to evade addressing dire political issues.
I find it laughable that Obama supporters demand CHANGE and more honest politics for ALL Americans….when all we’ve seen Obama do during his entire campaign is hide details, evade issues and even “flip” on political opinions—in itself brazen LYING to our faces!!
