There are acupuncture schools and oriental medicine schools all over the US. It really all comes down to personal choice. If you already have some sort of training or degree in holistic medicine then you may not need to do a full program. Check out your options. Here is a link to get you started.

First – make sure you attend an accredited school. Complete list can be found at http://www.acaom.org/.
Second, do some research and make sure you understand the difference between a 5-phase and an 8-parameter (aka zang-fu) school. 8-parameter is much closer to what is actually practiced in China today.
Third, check out this site run by students: http://www.tcmstudent.com/schools/ and see their opinions of their various schools.
Fourth – talk to acupuncturists in your area and see how they felt about their schools. I, for example, would NEVER recommend my old school – Midwest College of Oriental Medicine (in Chicago). But some other folks may have loved it there – which is why you need to do your own research.
Fifth – consider whether or not you will want to continue your education and get a doctorate. Very VERY few schools have accredited doctoral programs, and you will have an “in” if you do your Master’s at one and just continue with your doctorate at the same school.
Lastly – the best known school, with an outstanding reputation, is Bastyr U. in a suburb Seattle.
