Both are equally effective, but there are differences between them.
Electrolysis has a proven track record for permanency, but it’s expensive, time consuming and painful. It can also cause scarring if the operator isn’t very experienced and careful.
Although Laser is generally accepted as permanent, there are no long-term statistics that verify this; it simply hasn’t been around long enough.
Laser has some advantages; it’s quicker, and has less risk of scarring; but it’s at least as painful as electro, and no cheaper.
Laser works best on dark hair/light skin, and is ineffective against white, or very pale hair; electro works on any skin type/hair colour combination.
The price varies, so it’s difficult to say what it will cost you; but as a rough guide, I paid £175.00 (about $ 325) a session, every eight weeks, for two and a half years (so around £3000, or $ 5600).

laser is not advised for the removal of beard area, because it can stimlate finer hair to grow much more course.
plus laser is NOT permanent its just long term.
electroylsis is the only hair removal that is permanent. its time consuming but it has a proven track record of getting results, and works on all hair types and skin colours, unlike laser.
once you have cleared the whole area for the first time, you are well on your way to permanent hair removal, as then you can just go in for treatment every 3-4 weeks when the regrowth comes back, then that hair will be in its growth phase and then bye bye hair.
it will take about 9-12 months for full completion, but unlike laser you wont have to wait 3 weeks for the treated hair to fall out so you can keep hair free as much as possible.
so to conclude you need to do alot of hours first up to get the ball rolling and get that area cleared, so then you can see the new hair growing in.
