Question : What influences pollen count?
And don’t give me the definition (i.e. the average number of pollen grains per unit of volume over a day in a certain place). For example, does the weather affect the count? I ask that because the South seems to have a lower pollen count in general than the North.

I think that the more humid an area is, the less likely it is that pollen grains will float around in the air. The moisture in the air, wets the pollen grain and takes it to the ground so that it does not float on air currents.
