your eyes will be red & puffy. Constant sneezing. Watering eyes 24/7. Allergie medicane not working. Eyes burn or rubbing constantly. See the doctor then.
It’s not that your eyes have allergies, you have allergies and your reaction to them affect your eyes. Most people experience dryness, they feel hot, excessive exudate (puss or “sleep”), a feeling that you have sand in them, reduction of or inability to produce tears and blurriness or feeling that there is a “film” on them, watering (like you’re crying when you’re not), puffiness and “bags” under your eyes. A lot of people who have “hayfever” or seasonal allergies to pollens experience this quite frequently. If you have allergies and it is affecting your eyes in such a manner, you shouldn’t wear contact lenses as they can dry out your eyes further and exacerbate your symptoms. Some people have reported an allergy to contact lenses. Talk to your doctor or make an appointment with an allergist. They can give you some great eye drops like Patanol ™ which is by prescription only and also evaluate you for other allergy symptoms and/or test you to find out the culprit(s). Hope this helps. Good luck to you!
