We settled with a nursing home outside of court, for neglect on the death of my grandma. We settled about 3 weeks ago, now just wondering how long til our lawyer receives the insurance check?

It can take about a month after you sign the release. If you haven’t done that yet you should get on it.
Usually within 30 days. If you had a lawyer, then the check will be issued to you and your lawyer. Your lawyer will deduct his fees and charges from the amount of the check and issue you his check for the balance. Good Luck.
