Yes, I agree with everything you say Gary, The benzos are great for anxiety at first, then comes the tolerance and then comes the withdrawal which is dangerous altogether. Then you have to taper down off these meds to prevent these horrible withdrawals. Plus, yes 15 mins with a shrink is no real time for a diagnosis. All you get is your pills and a bogus diagnosis. stories like this are too common, but at least you’re fighting for yourself instead of just going to the shrink like people go in for a check up. more patients need to be proactive. I have been through a few shrinks, and more than 10 different types of meds too. I feel like I’m going to a medicine man/gypsy in a tent most of the time, they are usually so nebulous in everything they say, and so much is guesswork. anyway keep up the good work
