Simply Raw: Reversing Diabetes in 30 Days

Simply Raw: Reversing Diabetes in 30 Days is an independent documentary film that chronicles six Americans with ‘incurable’ diabetes switching their diet and getting off insulin. The film follows each participant’s remarkable journey and captures the medical, physical, and emotional transformations brought on by this diet and lifestyle change. We witness moments of struggle, support, and hope as what is revealed, with startling clarity, is that diet can reverse diabetes* and change lives. Additional wisdom is provided by Morgan Spurlock, Woody Harrelson, Anthony Robbins, Rev. Michael Beckwith, and Doctors Fred Bisci, Joel Furman, and Gabriel Cousens.

Well, it wasn’t the animal products that got me diabetes but the icecream and apple pie I ate on a daily basis. Furthermore, I think we are really omnivores. Problem is..Americans eat food prohibited in most other countries, because it is toxic as hell, but nobody seems to have a clue. We in Europe don’t import USA meat for this reason, it’s prohibited by Law. As for the diet in this video. I only can eat a few slices cucumber and 1 tomato/meal. and yes still have diabetes.

@Nightbird Exactly. Meat (organic meat) that is won’t cause you to get diabetes, in fact we need the complex proteins to support our body. Most vegetarians aren’t able to manage to solely eat veggies either. They or eat eggs, or yogurt on the side. And the ones that do, look pale. What important is though is to maintain the proper PH balance in our bodies, meaning approx 20% meat, and 80% veggies.

You people are frauds and you ought to be put in jail. You clearly know nothing about the disease, and you are spreading misinformation and promoting ignorance with your claims. When credulous people start following your advice and die as a result, it is my sincerest hope that you are put in the worst possible prison imaginable.
Don’t buy this bullshit, people. Once those insulin-producing beta cells are gone, they’re gone for good. Changing your diet won’t fix that.

@blakmira You are a fraud, an idiot and a liar. You obviously have no clue what you’re talking about. You don’t know anything about diabetes, insulin, or how the disease is treated. You should spend more time reading books than posting idiotic comments on youtube. You ought to be ashamed of yourself. As for the anti-vax bullshit, how many children have to die before you ignorant bastards come to terms with reality? You filthy fucking baby-murderers.

@commonsense2008 “The truth?” You sound like a fanatic–AND a liar. You CANNOT reverse type 1 diabetes. Type 1 involves the death of insulin-producing beta cells on your pancreas. You probably could have discovered this with a simple google search, but you fanatical conspiracy theorist FRAUDS never seem to want to do the research or provide evidence to support your wacky, dumbass claims. Too dangerous; might run into some facts. Can’t have that.

@yanammm Yeah, you’re a liar. You act like you understand the disease you’re offering advice on, and it’s obvious to anyone who has actually had to deal with it that you’re nothing but a big fat fraud. Second: eating raw vegetables does not cure fucking cancer, and you’d have to be stark chittering freakbar crazy to take such a claim seriously. Do the world a favor and throw yourself off a building, freak. Your presence makes the world a worse place.

@commonsense2008 actually it’s not true that we need animal proteins
. The entire indian populations proves it
– there are millions and millions of indians that have spent their entire lives on a vegetarian diet. I have lots of indian friends and what they say is that you DO need proteins, but you can get them from the right vegetables. Unfortunately our western diet excludes most of those veggies, so… we have to be very careful if we switch to a vegetarian diet. -

@commonsense2008 I am trying to eat healthy and I think that eating meat is bad for health, but…. I do eat seafood
. One thing is for sure – nobody needs to eat steak on every meal. There are so many recommendations out there… it takes time to research all of it and to find what’s the best for you… I think that whatever we do in order to make our diet healthier… is good enough and is a step in the right direction. - Comment Feed for this Post

@RICHARDCAVALLI1 I have not read this study and would like to, so please respond with a link so I may do so. I apologize if I sounded rude, but I am very tired of all this vegan propaganda. So many animals on earth eat meat and are healthy, yet only we humans find a way to say that it is bad. Lions, bears, fish, birds..all eat meat and all live long lives. Many tribes in Africa, and indians like the Eskimo only eat meat, and are healthier than gen population. We must respect these facts as well.
