Question : Should i tell my teacher i have an overactive bladder?
I’m in 6th grade and i have a teacher that won’t let me go to the bathroom. Like i said i have an overactive bladder and can’t wait that long to go. So should i just tell her the truth?

Yes, tell her but don’t let the other students in your class know though. I’m sure the teacher will understand your situation.

Hi have you been diagnosed by an MD as having an overactive bladder? Or is it a urinary tract infection? If you have not been diagnosed or seen by a doctor for this i would definitely go to a doctor. If you have already been seen, i would have the doctor give you a written statement for the teacher that this is the condition you have. So many teachers think it is just an excuse to get out of class when you say you have to go to the bathroom frequently. This way she will not think you are making it up. Some day your teacher might have this condition and then she will understand better what you are going through. Good Luck and Happy Thanksgiving
