Should I go to rehab?
Question : Should I go to rehab?
I’m a 17 year old girl– 5’8 110 pounds.
I wear a size 0 in most clothing, sometimes a 2, but usually a 2 is too big. Size 24/25 jeans and XS tops, sometimes a Small.
I keep losing weight…I restrict my caloric intake– usually under 1000 calories a day…I don’t eat lunch and exercise a lot. I am kinda starting to get scared. People are making comments, and early December I weighed around 131 pounds. I can’t really stop– it’s always on my mind.. even when I don’t keep track of my calories on my phone, I subconsciously add them up in my head..
My psychiatrist suggested I go to rehab for anorexia/bulimia… my parents don’t really suspect anything I don’t think except my mom keeps saying wow you look skinny (nicely), but when I was feeling sick, she suggested that I have anemia….. so I don’t know what she thinks..
also, cost is not an issue.
I just don’t want to go if I am going to be the fattest person there and other people are like wtf. and then I don’t want to gain weight…that’s my biggest fear.
also, my parents don’t know that there is any sort of problem.. it would be really hard to tell them..

yes, if you arent feeling comfortable with that i think it’s better to go to rehab
It’s a good thing you realize there’s something wrong. Most of the eating disorders are denied to the end. Now, if you think that only rehab can push you to overcome your issue, you should do it, but first give it a good try by yourself… it’s all in you, girl
