Question : question about anorexia treatment center?
my parents are making a big mistake…they chose to send me to a treatment center for anorexics next week, because they think i’m too thin. the thing is, i’m 5’8″ and i weigh about 120. that’s only 2 pounds underweight for my height, and according to doctors, being up to about 5 pounds underweight is ok. plus, i eat…i just don’t eat a lot. but i am pretty sure that i do get enough calories. what are these treatment centers like? i really don’t want to gain anymore weight…even though i’m tall, i still have a small frame. that’s why i look so skinny. they’re pulling me out of school some day next week. what should i expect from the treatment center? and how can i inform the doctors at the center that i don’t have an eating disorder? i’ve already tried to tell my parents, but they refuse to listen to me.

wow, that kinda sucks. the average for your height would be 130-140, thats ten pounds below that average but thats still fine. im 5’6 and i wiegh 102 and im fine and i dont eat that much either. i should weigh from 120-130 or something, thats 18 below, you are only ten. so plz convince them, they are ruining your education. unless you seriously starve yourself, dont worry cuz they wont do anything. my sister was anorexic and they just have dieticians and people speak to you to try to convince you to eat. just pig out for a week so that they see that you arent anorexic. do anything not to go there, they dont let you out for awhile and itll take lots of convincing. good luck! :D
