Is he feeding at all or not? If he’s not feeding at all he may be sick and should be checked by a dr. If he’s just being fussy with the boob, it might pay to have him seen by a chiropractor, often neck soreness can cause problems with feeding. Some other things to consider are whether perhps you have a fast flow which is troubling him – if so you could try expressing abit before attaching him, whether he is suffering from teething pain in which case some paracetomol might be useful, another thing could be that your periods are returning or is it possible you’er pregnant again? Those things can affect the taste of breastmilk which might cause him to refuse it. If none of the above work he may just be weaning himself some babies just do that and there isn’t a thing you can do about it unfortunately but I hope for both your sakes that’s not it. Another thing you could try while unable to get hold of your lactation consultant is to try contacting another one or depending on where you are there are often breastfeeding organisations available to help. I am in Australia and here we have the Australian Breasteding Association, I’ve heard other people on here mention the La Leche League. You could search the internet to see what’s available to you as they have breastfeeding counsellors who could give you further advice
