Pinnacle Career Institute (PCI) is now registering for the newly created program in wind turbine on the campus of Lawrence. Pinnacle Career Institute joined Cloud County Community College, Concordia University offers the only school in Kansas at the direction of the wind energy. The new program offers students technician with 11 months experience.

The program is the first of its kind in the metropolitan Kansas City and was created in response to a growing need for technicians in the field of wind energy emerging markets. The new wind construction in 34 U.S. states, responding Pinnacle Career Institute, the demand for qualified technicians.

PCI and its partners for the wind technician program, Texas State Technical College (TSTC) in Sweetwater, Texas, are pleased to offer practical experience to their students. TSTC is a two-year colleges, the only state-operated system of its kind in Texas. In 2007, TSTC has already created a leader in renewable energy programs, the first community college program of wind energy in Texas and bought a 60-cycle demonstration, the prototype of the 2-megawatt installation for training of students.

In the past five years, the wind is the fastest growing energy source in the world with an average annual growth rate of over 20 percent, according to BTM Consult, in his 14th annual update on the progress of the international community wind energy industry. Wind energy provides renewable, clean energy that is both economically and ecologically. with wind energy companies and other energy consumers to avoid the situation, the pollution of the atmosphere by heavy metals, particulate matter and greenhouse gases such as sulfur hexafluoride, carbon dioxide, carbon and nitrous oxide. The energy generated by wind energy also reduces the amount of smog and acid rain caused by burning fossil fuels and reduces the total cost contribution to global climate change.
