Question : Partial dentures??
I have 2 teeth in the back missing (they got pulled) they are exactly across from each other on the left and right sides….can i just get a denture retainer thing…with 1 tooth on each side, instead of an implant or bridge?? how much is that?

Sure you could, though I personally wouldn’t recommend it. Studies have shown that within 10 years of having a partial made, a large percent of patients find that the teeth that anchor it end up having decay or periodontal issues and have to also be extracted. Then you end up having to add teeth to the partial or get a new one.

I am a big fan of implants. They are usually quick and fairly easy to place, never decay or get periodontal disease, and last for upwards of 30 years. True, they are expensive, but considering how long they last and don’t have to be taken out every day, I think they are worth it.
