Question : psoriasis?
i am 13 years old and when i was six i got strep throat which lead to psoriasis…then summer of 2006 i got strep again and got psoriasis again…but now i had a sinus infection like a month and a half ago and was taking ammoxicillin for it and it went away soon after…now a month and a half later i’m breaking out in what appears to be psoriasis, but on my neck &scalp only. any tips? and if it is psoriasis, how can i prevent it from spreading any further? i’m halfway through the school year and i dont want to get it any worse.

Are you sure it is psoriasis? Psoriasis is a genetic thing and I have not heard of antibiotics making it flare, tho I have not heard that they don’t either.
It sounds more like eczema which is pretty much either an allergic reaction or extremely dry skin.
There are links below to both conditions, but if it is related to a medication, it is most likely atopic (allergic) eczema. The good news in that case is that there are plenty of topical creams to treat it and it can be avoided in the future by letting your Doc know what you have taken that has caused it.
I usually end up with Betamethazone cream for mine and I find it works on SOOOO many other skin irritations that it is like a miracle for me. There is also some new stuff the doc gave me called Liquix (I think I remember that right) which is dispensed like a hair mousse and removes the itching in 24 hours

I think I may have an obstruction. I am not exactly constipated. pressure builds up and I poop. Then I am ok for a day. In between I think a nerve is pressed. I become stiff as a board. Will a drain out help?

Maybe its kinda stupid question but i have to ask this. I have a friend and his father is abusing alcohol like crazy… He is 49 now he was drinking since he was 20 years old. Now he weights about 100lb.. 53kg he was once at hospital because he was abusing alcohol for like 2-3 weeks then he stoped because he was out of money he had to vomit a lot he was shaking like crazy for 1 day. Then next day he was fine and then like 2-3 days later he was not drunk or anything he was walking and then fell.. for no damn reason, blood came out of his mouth he was shaking he went to hospital and came back next day and he was allright. Its been like 4-6 months since that happend and he is drunk all the time, he did not stop drinking at all after all that happened to him. I wonder how long that person will live because he is making my friend to feel bad they dont have normal life and i know he is tired of that. Im like how much more can that person take its just crazy for me. Ty for you time!

The bleeding could b one of the signs 4 liver damage. That’s how most alcoholics end up.
By the way, do not wait 4 his death. Pl get him admitted 2 one of the facilities dealing specifically with this problem.

im almost 15 and recently my parents put me into an outpatient treatment center that’s 5 hours a day & 3 days a week. i’ve been cheating the recovery plan and losing weight again, and the staff there said that if i dont improve then theyll put me into an inpatient hospital. but my parents told me that they don’t want me in inpatient treatment because its a “fake environment”. if my parents dont want me to, can the people there still make me?

Try Western Dental. If it is not a complicated extraction they may be able to do it. We lived in Tucker for 6 months during which time my son had trouble with his wisdom teeth. They’re impacted and he needed an oral surgeon to do the extractions. We never found anyone that could or would help.
Since moving back west I found a dental financing company. There are several actually. one is Capital One, B of A has one and GE Bank has Care Credit. When no one else would approve my credit I got financing through Care Credit. You can fill out an application here
