Question : Orthodontic Braces?
Hi , I have braces in now for nearly a year and on Friday i got elastic bands , How long do i need to wear the bands for and does it mean that my braces will be off soon?

well if you wear the bands like you are suppose to then yes you will get your braces off soon. I have braces and have had to wear bands for a very long time because i was stubborn and thought it wouldnt make a difference so I didnt wear them and because of that I am still wearing my braces… going on three years now

I got my braces off July last year, when you get bands this tends to mean that your near to getting them off, although it does depend on how long your teeth take to line up with each other. There is no exact time period that you have to keep them on for, but hopefully you’ll get them off soon as it does hurt slightly.
