Did a random drug screening test late in the day. I am a type 2 diabetic. I was not able to eat and did not take my sugar medication. How will this affect my drug test?

eating or not or taking antidiabetic medications or not WILL NOT have any effects at all on drug screening!
That is not what they are looking for, and it is not tested for. But if you ride around with a MJ smoker, live next door to one and have to pass through their brown cloud every day, YES that will give a false positive.
Some OTC meds for headache taken with sports drinks will give a false positive too!
Take all medications, OTC and Rx, supplements, and list of sports drinks with you in your pocket to the testing. This will save you a lot of grief.
Yes, I know that the random screening is just that and not announced in advance and immediately must be done. I do that to my employees too! So keep on record with the company and with the labs they use, a file containing all your meds, both OTC and Rx, supplements, and whatever sports drinks you habitually use.
