Question : Is there a name for a person whose outward appearance is sickly, but they think they are sexy or hot looking?
A friend of mine is suffering from Bulimia and Anorexia and has ravaged their body to the point that it is painfully obvious that they need serious medical help, yet this person dresses and acts as if they have the body and looks of a super model. I want to have an intervention, but I want to be educated before attempting this.

in this case anorexic and bulimic would be the names. there are tons of information on the web about this.
my best advice is to get in touch with a professional. they can help you stage the intervention and it gives your friend a place to go. rather then saying ‘you need help’ you’ll be saying ‘i care about you and i have a plan for what you can do’.

yes plse educate yourself on this,but plse get the intervention assistance for your friend before you are visiting her grave site instead of in a medical facility.your friend may resent you for awhile ,be strong it’s just part of the cycle of greivance & blaming before your friend is on the direct healing path.God bless & good luck..

OK she needs help BAD you probably need to talk to her parents first tell them they need to her and i think she is trying to fool people trying to have them think she just really skinny but she beyond really skinny. So you tallk to her tell her your beating up your bady STOP your in horrible shape if you dont stop you can die and if you keep making yourself throw up about 5 times a day your gonna just kill your body and it hurts me knowing everyday that your in pain.and dont feel bad if your friend gets mad because you were doing the right thing.
