Question : Im a 17 year old guy and thinking of Hormone Replacement therapy, or just start taking estrogen, what do i do?
Ok so I have been thinking about this for a long time now. I really want to have the curves of a woman, and i want to have a believable appearance of a woman. What should I do?? P.S. My parents are to accepting of this kind of stuff… but i have a lot of friends who are

go for it. it’s your life it’s your body and if you want to be as sexy as a woman, i don’t see why anyone else should stop you!

If you’re already out and confident, the next step is to go to a therapist and letting him/her do some tests on you. You’ll be asking questions for 5 or 6 sessions and only then will the doctor dyagnose you with “gender dysphoria” or not.
If you really are almost exclusively female inside, and if you don’t have any other kind of mental disorders,and if your parents state their support to your transition, then he will send you to an endochrinologist to run some more tests. If your health is fine, the endochrinologist (the hormones doctor) will prescribe you shots or bands of estrogen.
But you’re still not done with the shrink, he’ll want to see you on a regular basis for at least 2 yrs.
Those 2 yrs are called RLT (real life test) and during that period you’ll have to live as a girl 24/7.
If that’s really what you were born for, you’ll hang on (expect no easyness or commodities, RLT is f**** up).
After that period the therapist might, if that’s what you wish, recommend you for a SRS (sexual reassignment surgery). If a medical commitee declares your health fit for the srs, and if you can pay about 50.000 or 60.000 usd, they’ll cut your penis, turn it inside out, and try to make it look like a vagina.
Don’t forget the electrolysis, wardrobe, stethics, silicone implants, etc which will cost over 200.000 usd. Don’t forget too, that you’ll have a hard time finding a job, no insurance company will want to let you make any insurance, and that you can die or turn into a vegetable during the whole process.But if you want it that bad, it’s always better to take the chance and go forward with it than to commit suicide as many T’s do.

I think you should try being a female for while before making changes to your body. Completely dress, behave and do everything the way a female would for a few months strait. This even includes talking like a female, putting on make up and getting your hair done in a feminine style.
I’m not just talking about changing the pitch of your voice. But, present the words in a way a lady would. As an example, The word moist would sound/appear more dirty then wet.
I’m not putting down the idea. Because, everybody should live how they want and some of the stuff females wear is quite nice. But, when you make changes to your body. It’s usually permanent. -

The first step is seeing a GENDER therapist:

Since you’re under 18 your parents have to give consent.
After and evaluation and being diagnosed as being transsexual they may write you a letter of referral to an endocrinologist.
After an evaluation of your health the endo will prescribe your hormone replacement therapy and do some lab work. It is important to get regular lab work so your hormone dosage can be adjusted correctly. Don’t even think about self-medicating as it is dangerous and can even be fatal.
My impression is that you have no idea what’s involved with transition. Transition is a long, expensive, medically monitored process. There are a million and one details to attend to and NOBODY transitions overnight. For example my transition took 4.5 years and about $ 80,000. You can learn more about transsexualism here:
If you are not a transsexual person don’t even think about messing with hormones.

talk to a shrink. you can do it if t=you really want too but after 6 months or so it becomes permanent effects to the body so think on it first
