None of this will matter now that corporations can influence our political system with endless streams of cash. We all know that most politicians are bought. You don’t take large amounts of money without giving something back. Corporations have many republican as well as democratic politicians already bought and paid for. Republicans, the entire party seem to have been purchased by the induatrial military complex. They have enough democrats to keep the wars going until and unless the people do something drastic (remember Vietnam) Our health care bill is a compromise, no public option in exchange for manditory payments from all working but uninsured people. This is a big win for the democrats as well as the health care industry. Health care insurance stocks are up if you haven’t noticed. The dollar is going to be devalued eventually. How much is anybody’s guess. Your investments will be worth less but your debt will be less. This is my opinion. Do some research, it is all over the net. Our debt is unsustainable. Experts think two to four years until the big boom. It is amazing how few people even know this. Either I am paranoid or I am right, do I sound paranoid?

Because like we told you all along this is about gaining power and not health care. Less than a week after it has been signed many companies are saying it is making it to expensive for them to keep providing all the benefits their employees have had for years.

AT&T will take $ 1B non-cash charge for health care
NEW YORK (AP) — AT&T Inc. will take a $ 1 billion non-cash accounting charge in the first quarter because of the health care overhaul and may cut benefits it offers to current and retired workers.
The charge is the largest disclosed so far. Earlier this week, AK Steel Corp., Caterpillar Inc., Deere & Co. and Valero Energy announced similar accounting charges, saying the health care law that President Barack Obama signed Tuesday will raise their expenses. On Friday, 3M Co. said it will also take a charge of $ 85 million to $ 90 million.
AT&T also said Friday that it is looking into changing the health care benefits it offers because of the new law. Analysts say retirees could lose the prescription drug coverage provided by their former employers as a result of the overhaul.
Also on Friday, Reps. Henry Waxman, D-Calif., and Bart Stupak, D-Mich., said they are asking the CEOs of Caterpillar, Verizon, Deere and others to testify at an April 21 House subcommittee hearing on claims that the health care law could hurt their ability to provide health insurance to workers.
