This was really interesting to me. I know what its like to reach the ideal weight and it does not bring happiness. I knew it wouldnt anyhow.
My point is that God loves us where were at, and sure its good to be in better shape, but I think we often get it all wrong.
Weight and such can become like a worshiped idol.

You are SO RIGHT! How many times has someone said, “wow! look at you! you look great” but when you look in the mirror, you cant see what they see. Perfection is the enemy. Only through our glorious Messiah are we perfect in the eyes of our Father. ONLY IN HIM! The most beautiful of people are ugliness in His sight unless they are clean in the Christ! Amen!

So many don’t understand that eating disorders almost always stem from real inadequacy issues because we are not in touch with the One who gives us our identity.
