I am a college kid with and eating disorder and no money for treatment– what do I do?
Question : I am a college kid with and eating disorder and no money for treatment– what do I do?
I’m nineteen years old and a full time college student at a community college. I’ve had disordered eating patterns in slightly varying degrees since I was about 16. I’m relapsing and I know it and I want help but I don’t know what to do or where to go. I don’t have money for treatment through a psychiatrist, psychologist, nutritionist, recovery facility– nothing. I don’t have health insurance either. I tried speaking to the counselor at my college but it’s not really working out. If anyone has been in my shoes and/or has a good suggestion for my situation, I would really appreciate that.

I also i had an eatin disorder. I went to the hoepital though. Try goin to a government hospital?Well if u cant, i can probably help. Try takin ur mind of food. I now when u have an eating disorder, when u c food u immediately say u dnt want to eat it. But when u do c food straight away, dont even think, eat it. Try hanging out with friends and ask them 4 help. What about ur mum and dad?Ur boyfriend maybe? JUst dont worrry alot about food. Cuz whats the whole point in being skinny. U arent goin to achieve anything. All ur doin is puttin ur life at risk.
