Question : How much is the estimated cost of tooth bonding of a small gap in my two front teeth?
I have about a 1mm-2mm gap in my front teeth thats barely noticable to anyone else, but to me it just annoys me for some reason, so I want to get it bonded… how much should that run me? I was told to try the normal dentists first because the cosmetic dentists would jack the price up a ton to do the same thing… is that true?

For the bonding to last, it needs the bonding material needs to wrap around a large amount of tooth enamel, not just stick in the little space. The fee to bond two front teeth varies in each area of the country and even different areas of a city or town. The fee per tooth could range from $ 195-$ 495 per tooth times 2 depending on how your bite is, how wide the gap is, the color, etc.
I believe any dentist doing front teeth bondings is somewhat of a cosmetic dentist, even if he or she doesn’t call themselves one. All dentists are taught these techniques. I think you can get a nice job from either type of dentist. It would help if the dentist could tell you how many he or she has done and show you some pictures of cases.
