The Medicare part D plans changes every year. If you are still on your original plan there is a good chance you should consider a change. If you truly understand the Part D plan you would know that it is one of the best things that has happened for seniors in a long time. It really depends on what meds you are on as to what plan you should be on. AARP has a preferred plan that has every drug medicare allows on the formulary. The premium is about $ 35. Another feature of this plan is if you get your meds through mail order there is no co-pay for a 90 day supply. I would be glad to help you hash out the details if you want. Email me if you want some help. One thing though, open enrollment ends March 31. So if you need to change you should do it ASAP.
