Ask your doctor if drinking alcohol is a good idea for you. Chemotherapy tends to reduce the body’s ability to fight off disease, causes weakness, and fatigue. If your doctors says it is OK, then it is OK.
First of all, Bactrim is not a chemotherapy drug, it is an antiviral. The other two are chemotherapy drugs.
It’s likely that it’s safe to drink lightly while you’re on these medications as it is, but alcohol can be hard on the liver and so can some of these drugs so the only way you can know for sure is to ask your oncologist.
After you complete them however, I would wait one to two weeks for them to clear your system. They are excreted through the kidneys and liver.
