How do you remove partial dentures?
Question : How do you remove partial dentures?
I know this sounds weird but my aunt can’t get her partial dentures out. any suggestions?

If this is a new partial she may need to work with it some or even go back to the dentist office so they can help her. There is usually a “combination,” such as the clasp on the left, or the one on the right side, slips up “first,” then they will lift out. Just have her relax and have a cup of coffee, the heat helps to loosen them. Sometimes patients get nervous and it makes it even harder for them to remove them. So tell her to relax with the coffee or something hot to drink and try again, she will get them out eventually but don’t stress over it, there is always help if needed.
It is easiest to use your fingernail over the clasp and pull down. Usually partials have a certain way to go in and come out. one side may want to come out first. If nothing helps she will need to see her dentist.
