Question : How do you get rid of dust mites from a stuffed animal?
Anyone know how to remove dust mites from a stuffed animal, will putting it in the wash remove them?

Yes, washing it will remove it. Put it on a small load on gentle. Don’t put it in the dryer. Wring the water out of it and let it sit until dry. Put it outside in the sunlight maybe.
You can go a few steps further by washing it in a an allergen removing detergent.
Also another Tip that I have seen is after you give it a good wash and dry, you can every so often put it into the freezer (wrapped in plastic of stuffed into a ziploc) for a few hours and kill off any new dust mites. A way to save yourself from washing it as often.
