WCPE Director Social Networking and Arts Liaison Tara Lynn announces an interview with the pianist Jeffrey Biegel on trial! 10. October 2010 at 7 ET clock. The cast talks about their new CD â? Bach on a Steinwayâ ????, the first recording on a new label of Steinway & Sons.
The album was conceived and produced by Grammy winner Steven Epstein 15 at the Performing Arts Center at SUNY Purchase. It was directed by bending on a Steinway Model D Grand Piano specially selected. His approach was to introduce the pieces that Bach would have happened if he have had access to modern pianos.

Up to the age of 3, was not Mr. Biegel hear or speak, to be corrected by surgery. The career of pianist Jeffrey Biegel has been marked by bold, creative achievements and highlighted by a series of firsts: he gathered launched the first live internet recitals in New York and Amsterdam in 1997 and 1998 and 1999, the largest consortium of orchestras (over 25 ) in the new millennium with a new concerto for him by Ellen Taaffe Zwilich, whose “composed Millennium Fantasy for Piano and Orchestra celebrate” was created with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra in 2000. Mr. Biegel is currently on the piano faculty of the School of Music, Brooklyn, Brooklyn College, City University of New York (CUNY) and the Graduate Center of City University of New York (CUNY). He lives in New York with his wife Sharon and their son Craig and Evan.
