Question : Eating Disorder Treatment Question…..?
Has anyone been to or heard about the Outlook at Westchester located in White plains, NY. I am going tuesday and extremley nervous. People said it is torture there. They have redone their program in the past year and I’ve heard it’s not that bad. ANY Information as well as the date you were there would be extremley helpful. Some questions I do have, how long were you there for? What are meals like? Is ensure used ( I know thats all people use to get). What are groups like?

Have you not looked it up on Google? I can’t really answer your question as I’m from England, but I’ve had an eating disorder for 15 years now. I understand you’re extremely nervous, and yes, it probably will be torture! There’s no easy way to start eating when everything in you resists it. I sincerly hope it works for you, short term torture has to be better than being stuck with it for years and years. Good Luck.
