Question : Does Michigan require medical assistant certification or is it just credible to have one to make more money?
Here in houston u don’t have to have certification to work in a clinic but you have to have certification to work at hospitals and give injections

The easiest way to check is on the state of Michigan’s website.
It is usually the Dept of Education that spells out the jobs that need licensing and certification. I know in New York the list of jobs in the health field that now need licensing has grown tremendously.
