Question : does anyone know anything about perlane?
an injectable filler much like restylane or juvederm. What makes it different? Are there any permanent solutions to smile lines not caused by age but have always been there?

Yes, I used to have it in my lips. It’s a thicker version of restylane used for deeper wrinkles, filling hollows, augmenting lips, cheeks, etc.

You should consult with a dermatologist experienced in injecting fillers to see which is the best option for you.

I wouldn’t not go with a permanent filler. To many risks. The only other option would be a longer lasting temporary filler such as Restylane SubQ, Radiesse or Sculptra.

There is also the option of fat grafting, where they harvest fat from one part of your body and then transfer it to the areas you want treated. The procedure is slightly unpredictable as the retention rate varies from person to person. It may be worth a shot though.
