ADD and COD are two very different things. ADD is a mind disorder which can lead to short attention spans, and COD affects your body in a way that tells your braine enzimes that your not full or finished eating.

Compulsive overeating is not a trait of ADD. However, more times than not compulsive behaviors can surface as a result of having ADD because without effective treatment for ADD, one can suffer severe depression and as result of that eat compulsively as it’s a form of self medication (comfort food) ADD can also co exist with OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) which is an extreme anxiety disorder in which case these are two separate disorders that require different treatments. There is a different protocol for treatment for both disorders and both need to be addressed and treated by a qualified physician.
