Question : Do you know if any Retirement homes are hiring in Chicago?
Hi Im 15 years old and I am in need of a summer job.Please list the retirement homes’ name ,address and any other information.I have a permit and heard that teens can get summer jobs at retirement homes. If you know some other places that are hiring, that would also be helpful .I would really appericate your help.

You didn’t mention where you are in Chicago and how far you are willing to travel.
Your best bet would be to go on Yahoo Yellow Pages (http://yp.yahoo.com/) and put in the zip code you are in along with the key search of “Assisted Living” or “Retirement Facilities”.
These would list homes in your area where you could look.

I’m not sure about any retirement homes but I work for the city and we hire teens every summer to work in various departments. Also check out the Chicago Park District. Next year…start your search earlier ‘cuz the college teenagers come home for the summer and take alot of these jobs but I’m sure there are still some available…
