Kathy Callender, Callender and Heather Potter, founder of PharmaJet, Inc. The Tech Awards, a signature program of the Tech Museum and Applied Materials, Inc. has presented, from hundreds of nominations, selected more than 50 countries.

Humanity is one of the first annual humanitarian awards programs in the world, recognizing technical solutions that the major problems of our planet and its inhabitants’ needs. The awards program honors 15 scientists and innovators annually alongside the recipient of the Global Humanitarian Award presented this year’s Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan. The winners will be chosen by an international jury of the Center for Science, Technology, and Society at Santa Clara University and is organized from Santa Clara University faculty as well as heads of educational institutions and research, industrial and public sectors around the world.
