Dr. William H. Gorman is a specialist in plastic surgeon who has practiced medicine in Austin for over twenty years.

After earning two degrees from the University of Texas at Austin, he attended Texas Tech University School of Medicine, and holds a degree in medicine in 1975. Mr. Gorman has his internship and residence in general surgery at the University of Texas Medical Center in San Antonio and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
He then completed his residency training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. He returned to Austin with his family in 1983 and since then has been the practice of his specialty of plastic surgery.

Dr. Gorman is a clinical investigator for new equipment in the field of plastic surgery. Recently she has chosen to examine in a new national study participate cohesion silicone breast implants. Austin Seventy of his patients benefit from these new implants as part of their breast augmentation, and to follow Dr. Gorman and his staff their progress over a period of ten years.

Dr. Gorman is a founding member of Austin Smiles organization that sent three medical teams each year in third world countries, to treat children with cleft lip and other congenital anomalies. He regularly goes on mission trips and has operated on hundreds of children around the world.

In addition to holding a certificate in plastic surgery, Dr. Gorman, a Member of the Advisory Board of the Austin Breast Cancer Resource Center, and belongs to numerous professional organizations.
