are specialized eating disorder clinics similar to psychiatric hospitals?

Well I have been in both. Personally I preferred the psychiatric hospital over Renfrew, the eating disorder clinic I was in. I felt Renfrew was very unfair. (But that’s probably only me) Anyways, also I preferred it because I do not only have a problem with an eating disorder, but also with cutting, depression, and all that stuff. In the psychiatric hospital I could connect with the others, in an amazing way. I could in Renfrew but I felt almost as if I had to secretly be competitive. So I would say connection to peers in the two definitely differs, but the daily routines are very similar. Only Renfrew focused only on eating disorders and the psychiatric hospital on everything and then individual problems.
