Question : Am I eating enough? ~Trying to recover from anorexia/bulimia…?
If anyone on here has read any previous questions then they know that I have endured the grasp of an eating disorder. Anorexia and Bulimia have taken over my life for nearly 4 + years. Now, I know I have had nutritional guidance, but I am back into counting calories again, and after I left treatment, I maintained a weight that they wanted me to, but now that there’s no one watching over my shoulder, I am desperate to lose weight without the complete starving or binging and purging.
I currently eat roughly 900 calories MAXIMUM Day and some days are as as just 400 and sometimes less. I really do forget to eat , and on the days when I eat nearly 900 calories, I truly feel stuffed….
From a nutritional standpoint, my diet is balanced; really really really low in fat. I exercise for 45 min a/b 3 x a week, sometimes more. sometimes less; it’s just not as compulsive and obsessive as it used to be.
I am 5’3 and am ‘supposed to weigh 115′ However I’m not sure, because I dare not step on a scale for I am sure that I will cry. I feel fat as it is; as I’m sitting here eating my ‘evening snack of pretzels’…..

You are not eating enough, however, you have probably slowed your metabolism to a crawl so that’s why you feel full with only 900 calories. It will take time for your metabolism to recover. Try for more than 900 a day. Challenge yourself for an extra 100. Eat some slices of meat or an egg. Slowly work your way up.
115 is a good weight for 5’3″. Shoot for that, but not less.
