Question : Diabetes pump for a one yr old? My baby was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes last summer when he was 8 months old. My 12 yr old daughter was also diagnosed at that age. We are currently in the process of getting her on a pump, but my doc also told me to get the baby on a pump. She said it would be a life saver. Has anyone else had their little tiny ones on a pump? Did the baby do well with the pump attached all the time? Was it better than shots every few hours?
