I want to be a “beating anorexia therapist” is saying counseling the same?
or are they totally different things.
Also what is the difference between anorexia and bulimia ??

Yes, a counselor and a therapist are the same type of occupation.
Anorexia involves low body weight and self starvation. Bulimia involves binging and purging.

While being a therapist and being a counselor are very similar occupations they is a little bit of difference. The term therapist usually indicates someone with a higher degree, usually a PhD. While someone who just hold a bachelor’s can be a counselor. Anorexia is where someone does not eat. Bulimia is when somebody binges and purges. Somebody with anorexia nervosa might occasionally binge and purge, but for the most part they just won’t eat. People with anorexia believe that being anorexic is just a lifestyle, while someone with bulimia realizes that they have a problem.
