Question : What is the difference between an air washer and an air cleaner?
I was looking at the Air-O-Swiss website because I wanted to buy something that cleans and humidifies the air. What does an air washer do? What does an air cleaner do? What makes them different?

An air washer is an air cleaner/purifier but an air cleaner is not an air washer.
And air cleaner purifies the air from airborne contaminants. Ad air washer washes, humidifies and ionizes the air.

If I were in the market for this I would be looking at the air washer. One, because there is no filters. Two, because it maintains humidity. And three, I think it better overall ….personal opinion
