It is just a less invasive version of a regular facelift. The results are more subtle and it is better for younger patients, ie 35-50 years old.

They make an incision starting from the temple, extending in front of the ear (behind the tragus) and then just up behind the ear, but not into the hairline.

They then undermine the skin and tighten up the muscles with permanent sututres. They remove excess fat from under the chin and jawline, sometime they repositiong the cheek fat pads and then remove any excess skin, before closing the incisions.

The procedure takes 2-3 hours to perform and recovery may be 2 to 4 weeks.
