I think alcohol has put a certain image of itself on its viewers, especially the United States. In the United States, they sell a drink called “Red Bull”. If this drink was illegal but people would still be able to get it, they would drink dozens of it. They would call the consequent hyperactivity, a “High”.

Hey Buckethead111,
Thanks for the comments. The film is geared towards TEENS because it was made by teens. We gave students cameras and tried to get to the core of the issue of the pressures that they are dealing with.
I agree, adults should see it as well, but our goal was the give TEENS a voice.
Best,
JC

You idiot. How can drugs and alcohol have a positive side? Drugs and alcohol can ruin your life or take your life. I’m a teen and I will never do any of that stuff. I will not do sex, drugs, alcohol, and smoking. I will not do it just to be popular, liked by cool people and if stressed. Becuse people that do that kind of stuff is not cool what so ever. Drugs and alcohol can crush your dreams in an instant.

@SpeedyCheeze You say our film is a shock video? We don’t understand. It is teens and addicts telling you the truth. If the TRUTH scares you then maybe it is time to pay more attention to the TRUTH.
Nothing in this video tells you what to do. It is constructed in a way that will make you think differently. Based on your reaction we hope it has made you think differently.

In almost any situation there are those who will take things to far. Understanding your personal limits and the effects of the drugs (alcohol included) you choose to partake in can allow you to enjoy the experience of altered states of mind without becoming one of these sob stories. For once I would like to see a drug and alcohol presentation that shows both extreme stories as well as the stories of those who use in moderation.

If parents would introduce alcohol to their kids and show them what it’s like at early ages (9+) then maybe there’d be less cases of abuse.
Alcohol is way too mystified here in America…highest drinking age on the planet bullshit causing more problems than it solves.
