Question : Should I start Methadone assisted detox?
Ive been taking up to 160mg of oxycontin a day, everyday. I cant seem to detox cold turkey on my own and cant afford to buy enough drugs to detox myself slowly. I’m not sure if methadone is good because of the come down, addictive properties, etc. I really dont want to go to a full inpatient 30 day rehab either. I dont know what to do.

With taking that much oxycontin you really are going to need help getting off it. Your best bet is getting help. Believe you me i’ve seen it and want the best for you!
