Yes HostGator is much more flexible, not to mention easy to use. GoDaddy is cheaper but they have a difficult interface, and that will lead to a bunch of customer service you don’t need to deal with
With Cpanel once learned, it’s learned. Also, it’s a risky hassle to start one place, then transfer to another… you’ll want to set up shop one time if possible. -

What i would like to know is ? With a reseller acct. is it just another affiliate link? or do you get to pick your own domain name? or are you just promoting host gator? likeI have been looking into godaddys reseller plan witch they are only being a reseller of wildwesthosting. and i looked up whois on this wildwest and website worth come up with website worth 0 daily page reviews0 daily add rev.0 and no alexa rating so do you get your own domain?

Great tips – wouldn’t something like GoDaddy’s reselling be a bit better though for starting out since there wouldn’t be the $25 to $100 per month you’d have to pay while you are working on getting enough clients to cover and exceed that, but instead you’d get money for each order as it comes in? I guess the benefit of host gator is that there is the potential for more profit (and flexibility) down the road.
