Question : Should I get treatment for my Eating Disorder?
Hi there,
I have had an Eating Disorder (mostly Anorexia Nervosa) since I was 16 years old. I am now 33 years old. I know… too old for this, I suppose? Anyway, I’ve been through countless treatment centers only to relapse time and time again. Here I am again, sliding down the same slippery slope (sort of).
I don’t think I need to go to a treatment facility, though my “treatment team” does. They’re pushing for it. Blah blah. I’m 5’4″ and now about 107 lbs. See? FAT. I’ve been tons lower than this. At death’s door. I don’t see the problem.
I eat about 900-1000 cals per day and exercise anywhere from 1 hour to 2.5 hours per day, depending.
So should I go back into a treatment center, or just continue the way I’m going? Give me your educated opinions, please!:) Thank you!

107 lb is farrrrr from fat. I am 5’6 and 125, and I am in the middle of a healthy weight. If your ‘treatment team’ thinks you should get treatment, then I wouldn’t doubt them.
